Giving Picks As A Player in Athens
In 2004-2005, during the time I was playing for Apollon Athens, I gave picks every week in Elefteros Typos , Greece's highest-circulating sports-betting newspaper. Under my picture it says something like 'Goran Trpevski, football player of Apollon Athens gives his thoughts.' Plenty of readers must have been following my picks as what was supposed to be only a temporary arrangement turned into a weekly thing for more than a year (2004-05). I saw myself more as a player and less of a tipster during this time. So I gave my picks for free to the readers of Elefteros Typos.
